RSCDS Kingston

This project was all about giving the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society of Kingston a fresh new look. Their old logo and website had been around for decades, and they simply didn't reflect who they are today. We wanted to make sure their online presence was as vibrant and inviting as their dance community!

Logo Redesign

The first stet was to update the long established logo. Starting with the original logo concept, the wish was to incorporate a sense of movement in the new logo with two dancers and incorporating the iconic Murney Tower in Kingston. Branded materials, such as a magazine ad and social templates were also created.

Website Design

The website is meant to quickly engage with new dancers and demonstrating the community of people who enjoy Scottish Country Dancing.  It also aims to make it easy for new and existing members to find upcoming events and classes quickly and easily.

Event Calendar Integration

One of the biggest changes was the publishing of upcoming events. Previously, events were manually added on the website, but with a series of repeating events, it had become cumbersome to manage. The new website has a calendar connected to the Kingston chapter's Google calendar, allowing it to be updated quickly and easily by anyone with access and allows for visitors to filter different types of events.
